Choir Join us to share marvelous music and fellowship. Practices are from 7-9pm Thursdays in the sanctuary from September to June. See the choir page. Contact Music Minister Greg Caisley (gregcailsey@me.com) or talk with any choir member for more information.
Family Activities
DHUC families share in a number of seasonal events, often led by the youth. These are events such as the Swing Dance, Mardi Gras/Shrove Tuesday, September's Welcome Rally, Family Barbecue & Picnic and First Night at the beginning of Advent.
Women's Book Club All women are welcome to join the Book Club which meets in members' homes to discuss the chosen book of the month. It's great stimulating conversation with a fun group.
Stitch and Chatter This busy group meets Thursdays at 9:00am in the Ethel Todrick Room. Projects of this group are major fundraisers for DHUC at Fall Fair and at events during the year. See the Stitch and Chatter page for more information.
Aurora Ladies Group
The Aurora ladies have been together since the formation of the UCW in 1962. They meet on the second Tuesday of each month in members' homes. Aurora ladies host the Vancouver School of Theology monthly luncheon and convene the Home Baking table at the Fall Fair. Funds from the group's events are dispersed to First United, the VST Bursary and funds within DHUC.
Unit Three Members of this group meet the second Thursday evening of each month in a member's home raising funds for various Outreach projects supported by the congregation.
Men's Breakfasts A joint breakfast every third week on Saturdays at 7:30 am, inviting men from the five churches in discussion about the future of the United Church on the west side of Vancouver. All men welcome. Good breakfast! Good fellowship! Check the current calendar for the next date.
Fellowship Club This group meets the third Saturday of the month from noon till 3pm, September to June, in the Ethel Todrick Room. Everyone welcome; just bring along a sandwich and $1.50, beverages will be supplied. See the Fellowship page for more information.
Tuesday Morning Coffee Club Meet in the Library, 10:00am every Tuesday morning. Check the current calendar to confirm. Plan to check this out. It's fun and fascinating.
