"We are an involved and connected community...
Seekers, questioners and believers at various stages on the journey."
At Dunbar Heights, we have strong and inspired leadership from Rev. Michelle Slater, Cathy Cryder, our children, youth and family minister and musicians Dr. Greg Caisley and Dr. Elinor Chambers. For more information about all our staff members, please click here.

Congregational worship includes and honours tradition forms and explores modern expressions of the moving of the Holy Spirit. Dunbar Heights is child-friendly, affirming of individual lifestyle choices and open to questioners. People come dressed comfortably for worship; some in jeans and runners, others in suits. You can bring your coffee, too and there are more refreshments following the service.

Throughout the year at Dunbar Heights we celebrate the sacraments of Communion monthly and Baptism at the request of families. Every Sunday from 10-11:15am, we have time with the children, stimulating sermons, and vibrant music. You are welcome any Sunday. Baptism is a time of joy, celebration, and at Dunbar, cake after service. Children, infants and adults are all welcome to consider baptism as well as reaffirmation of promises made on their behalf by parents. The fellowship of Dunbar Heights includes those who take those step and those who do not. At DHUC the children share all parts of the baptism--and know about water, oil, gift candles and gifts of Bibles.

Communion is offered monthly, is open to all, and is usually by Intinction "rip and dip". Children participate in Communion both by receiving and by serving.
